WIND TURBINE IMPROVEMENTS: Independent Energy's AirLight Bearings(TM) are a revolutionary new technology that significantly improves wind turbine operational characteristics; wind farms will be able to operate at much lower wind speeds and, regardless of wind speed, be able to produce more electrical output per unit of wind velocity. Wind energy production projects become viable at locations hitherto considered unsuitable (due to lower wind speeds).
Additional future applications will include an ultra high efficiency
generator/motor which requires far less energy input while delivering equal
